Vintage Art for the Table~A Fall Centerpiece Tablescape

One of my very favorite things to do is walk into a thrift store and find something totally amazing!  It was so with this piece of artwork.  It is painted in rich plums and rose colors.  It has just a pop of golden color.  I love the unusual.  A tablescape in those colors for fall sounded beautiful.  Why not artwork on the table!  If it is being used for just two it can be placed in such a way that both can enjoy it and still have good conversation without having to try and look over it.

Another sweet find was the large plum colored vase.  It is tall and looks like bubble glass.  It was a perfect match for the last blooms of fall from the garden.

The sweet plum carafe is a piece of hand thrown pottery which my son made.  It is wonderful to pour sweet tea into our glasses.

Setting a romantic table always involves candlelight.

Now that the centerpiece is ready it is time to arrange the table for a beautiful candlelight evening meal!  Do you ever use art on the table?
